    The footwear recommended to use is comfortable shoes, tennis or sneakers. Also, you should wear shorts, a shirt and a hat or sun cap. On the Tour Xichén you’ll go swimming in a cenote, so we recommend you bring a bathing suit, water shoes, towel and a change of clothes.

    There is no minimum age for the archeological tours.

    No, unfortunately we do not have a shuttle from Merida and participants of the tour are not allowed to take one during our visit to Chichén Itzá.

    There aren’t dolphins in Chichén Itzá. But our parks Xel-Há and Xcaret have the activity available with an additional fee.

    Yes, the Cenote Xcajum offers restrooms, showers and dressing rooms.

    You will visit different cenotes, depending of the tour you choose. In the Xichén Clásico Tour, you will discover the Xcajum cenote, where you can swim (mandatory use of life jacket at an additional cost). With Xichén Deluxe Tour, you will enter the Santuario Tsukán cenote near Chichén Itzá.

    In Cenote Xcajum, you will have one hour and 30 minutes to swim in the cenote (mandatory use of life jacket at an additional cost), eat and relax at this beautiful place.

    The total time at the archaeological site is three hours. You will have 1 hour and 45 minutes of guided tour and then 1 hour and 15 minutes of free time.

    The time you will be back at the hotel depends on its location. The Xichén Clásico and Xichén Deluxe Tours take about 12 hours after leaving the hotel and until our return. Arrival to hotels is estimated around 6:50 PM for visitors staying in Cancun and 7:20 PM for those at Riviera Maya.

    Transportation

    When purchasing online your Admission with transportation to the parks, a list of hotels with available pickup will be displayed. The exact time will be confirmed upon purchase. It is essential to show 15 minutes before your scheduled pickup. It is important to confirm your transportation service with at least 48 hours in advance. The transportation that will pick you up at your hotel may have the logo of any of our Parks: Xcaret, Xel-Há, Xplor or the company logo Grupo Xcaret. The transfer may be by van or luxury bus, depending on the operation.

    If your hotel is not in the list, if you are staying in an Airbnb, hostel, with family or anywhere, you can choose one of the following meeting points and Grupo Xcaret official transportation will pick you up there. You can call Customer Service or send an email to Cancun Hotel Zone Activities. Our agents will help you with the pickup information or any other doubt you may have.
